INERGY is continuously innovating in new simulation techniques and has developed its own simulation tools. The use of virtual prototyping in the Fuel System development has allowed for increased product quality and process efficiency.

While driving continuous improvement, INERGY can today simulate most of the processes and product validation tests:
- Filling, to prevent premature shut offs and spit back
- Ageing, to predict tank deformation and prevent related issues
- Gauging, to calibrate and improve gauge accuracy
- Crash and Fire resistance, to anticipate on security testings
- Slosh noise, to prevent noises of the fuel tank in the car environment
- Emission, to prevent permeation
